My inspiration behind my design for the ‘Don’t tell Mum’ wine label deign was the name itself. I was inspired by things you wouldn’t want to tell your mum you’re doing as a young adult such as gambling or playing poker. I wanted to incorporate the name into the design of the cards and even incorporated a potential slogan ‘Bring on the Wine’ to bring some contrast to the design and hopefully turn it into a catchphrase that is associated with the brand. I know it can be overwhelming going into the bottle-o deciding which wine to get so i know i would be more drawn to a fun colourful label.
